Users urged to change all passwords for Internet sites as a consequence of “Heartbleed”
It is estimated that two thirds of websites use OpenSSL the security software at the centre of the “Heartbleed” vulnerability. OpenSSL is a set of programs to manage data encryption when users require secure connections to the Internet. Heartbleed strictly speaking is not a virus that infects computers but is a defect in the software, in short a programming bug.
